We stayed for 2 nights at New Year, rooms were lovely, meals very good, staff very friendly & helpful.

Another chilled and relaxed stay, our 3rd year. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who all worked their socks off as it was a very busy couple of days. Only thing that let it down slightly was breakfast, staff having to go to the shop for milk, juice etc. we understand it’s a very difficult time for businesses especially hospitality, trying to judge exactly what you need etc to limit waste. So well done to Julie and her team, see you next year!

Small central hotel in Aberfeldy. Room on upper floor ( no lift)was clean, spacious and comfortable. Value for money. Free parking close by.Bar/bistro on ground floor was busy and well run. Breakfast products were good. Evening meal was of average quality but value for money. A decent overnight hotel on a shopping trip to House of Bruar, away from the tourist traps.

We stayed for 2 nights D B & B in November. A warm welcome when we arrived we were checked in quickly. We had room No1 which was warm and welcoming. It is a large room with a large bathroom with bath and corner shower cubicle. Everything was spotlessly clean with clean white towels and dressing gowns. We were able to park outside the premises but there is parking across the road if that is not possible. The breakfast menu was extensive with plenty cereals, fruit juice and coffee. We ate in the bar each night and found a nice selection on the menu and some specials. We both hadthe steaks one night and Venison and haddock the second. The food was served well and was delicious. I would recommend the shiehallion to anyone for a short break and explore the area.

Stayed here for the 1st time as I has a job to do in Taymouth Castle in the morning.Been in the pub last year when up for a night, but should have stayed here then as the rooms were far superior to the Breadalbane hotel. Arrived on the Sunday at 5pm. Priority was a pint, so ordered a Behaven best only to be charged £6.00. I thought, well that must be what it is in here. I should have said something cos it was actually £4.00 for a pint, which I found out later when i had dinner.I went to the Fountain for a couple a beers then came back for food which was amazing.Had Cullen Skink followed by the haggis/black pudding scotch egg then the cheese board. Food was awesome. Hotel room was so big, comfy and spotless. Loved it. Breakfast was same as dinner. Brilliant, and chef was really nice and chatty. 10 outta 10 for this hotel. Apart from the £6.00 pint 😅 I will be back and I highly recommend this place to even King Charles.

We travelled and stayed at The Schiehallion Hotel fora funeral in Aberfeldy. Everything about the hotel met our needs absolutely.Thelocation was great, and it was easy to find. Therooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a mealand drinks in the restaurant. A special shout for the excellent Scottish breakfast.

Firstly value for money - we were offered a 3 nights for 2 deal which was perfect, the room was clean and well appointed, food in the bar was tremendous and the staff were friendly and helpful. You have to remember it’s a hotel above a pub, but saying that there was no excessive noise from there and the regulars were also very friendly. As a fire safety professional, I was impressed by the welcome instructions from the young lady who booked us in, the only negative is the walls on the 2nd floor are particularly thin! No hesitation in recommending this small hotel for a weekend break - especially good for hill walkers.

Room was good size, bed nice and bigand good quality linen.Ensuite also generous size, powerful shower, lots of hot water.Breakfast great selection and nicely cooked, staff v courteous.

Lovely stay in the hotel. Staff friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Room warm,clean and cosy, lovely hot shower. Food was really good, best nachos I have eaten in a long time, would recommend the chicken and black pudding lasagne and the chicken chocolate orange cheesecake was divine. Great hearty breakfast in the morning. Plenty of choice both breakfast and dinner. This hotel is great value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Schiehallion.

The staff are very friendly and helpful! The room is nice, clean, and comfortable! Aberfeldy is such a lovely lovely place and so is Schiehallion Hotel! My room is even nicer than the pictures!

My stay at hotel was enjoyable. Food was good andmy room was very spacious, slept well in comfortable bed. Would stay again when in the area.

It was my second stay at this place already and I will continue booking a room here. In the very centre of the village you can enjoy everything it has to offer within walking distance. Very convenient if you have a special tour booked at the whisky distillery. The pub offers great food in the evening and for the guests a very tasty cooked breakfast in the morning. The rooms I have stayed in so far are very clean with modern facilities and welcoming atmosphere - perfect choice to relax and have a good night.

The room, including the bathroom was adequate. The breakfast was also adequate.The locals tended to hang around the bar and it was not easy sometimes to be served. The bar staff tended to favour the locals when serving.The price for the room for the three nights was fair for what we received.

After 70 off-road miles whilst doing the badger divide, a warm welcome by Chrissie was the start of a real treat. There was bike storage in the cellar, and huge bathroom to lay all our gear out, a red hot shower, comfy beds, and a quiet night for a much needed sleep. Breakfast was colossal, again great service, with more delicious food than even we could devour, it proper set us up for a great day ahead of 85 miles. We loaded the bikes up out the frontunder the shelter whilst it rained, and the female member of staff ( ginger), even came out and asked if we'd like the shutters wound out even more, now thats attention to detail, well done all, first class completely, loved it 👏👏👏

We had a lovely few days at the schiehalliion clean room nice meals,lovely friendly staff, only thing I would say is there could be more choice of main meals on the menu.

Hotel was nice, room was nice and quiet. Food at the bar was very good. Great breakfast. Easy in, easy out.Only negative: mattress was sagging.

We stayed overnight before tackling a Munroe. Very comfortable hotel with lovely food.

We stayed over the night of our friends wedding. The staff were exceptional. They went over an above to accommodate an early check in to allow us to get ready with our baby daughter. Provided an Iron and Ironing board promptly. Breakfast was great, the staff left a high chair out ready for us, were accommodating with our babies food requirements, and were super friendly and chatting with us. Would absolutely stay again - and as one of your staff suggested, request a first floor room for all the things we had to bring for our baby!

The hotel room was very spacious and.nicely decorated the bathroom was like new very clean.All the meals we had there was a great choice very friendly staff and will be staying here again

Lovely stay great staff lovely food breakfast was fab. However in room 8 where we stayed a couple of small stains on duvet. Some of the pillows heavily stained need new pillows plus pillow protectors. This was noticed when I stripped bed before leaving in the morning.Behind the chair in the room there were large cobwebs. Other than that though room comfy

Would have been 5 stars if not for our rooms being too hot to sleep. Heaters were off but open windows and very welcome fans only helped marginally . It wasn't during a heatwave so really disappointing . Otherwise good and I have to praise the staff who were so friendly and welcoming and helpful! Breakfast was excellent. Great choices and excellent service.

The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. The shower was one of the best I've used but the bathroom needs at least one shelf. Nowhere to put things.

I was disappointed when I saw the hotel - thinking this was just another pub with rooms above, I could not have been more wrong. The pub was well managed and there was never any excessive noise. The menu and food were excellent, nicely prepared and presented food, and the 'hotel' part of the premises was nicely decorated throughout and spotlessly clean. We even came back for another evening on our journey home. Excellent.Tom Henry

We really like this hotel, we have stayed here a few times.Rooms are a good size, nice modern bathroom.The bedding is lovely but the bed itself was uncomfortable.There is a lovely bar which has a nice vibe going on with it also serves a varied menu.Breakfast was amazing.It filled us up right until dinner time. A good stay and we will stay again. Would have given 5stars for the breakfast alone, but the bed was uncomfortable therefore rated a 4.

This was a perfect stay for us. An excellent location in the centre of Aberfeldy. Comfortable modern rooms and en suite. Excellent food for dinner and breakfast and friendly relaxed service. I'm sure we will be back.

Very nice hotel with good breakfast. I wont spend words on things people already said, because the hotel and personnel are great. Only thing was that the shower in room 5 could use some love.

Lovely street facing large double room with equally large en-suite, both were spotless.We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast served by really helpful and friendly assistants.Kettle and good selection of teas and coffees supplied.Bonus was that we were able to park just outside.Will use again and no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We had a wonderful one night stay at this hotel. The location was perfect and walking distance to many shops in town. The room was very clean and breakfast was delicious. We also had supper in the inn and it was very good as well.

A really lovely time. Spacious room with everything you’d need for a couple of nights. A decent bar downstairs and delicious pub stylefood. Plenty to choose from on the menu both dinner and breakfast, including a specials board. I've stayed at the hotel numerous times now and it never fails to satisfy expectations. This time the room was very spacious for price paid, with lots of small touches that made for a relaxing stay, including small fan that was a welcome find during Scottish heatwave. Staff super friendly and bar downstairs lively, with good food and beer. This hotel is one I'll continue coming back to.

Great clean rooms, friendly staff, good bar food menu, is just a good pub stay over, if you want the Savoy, stay at the Savoy, and a must to try is the salmon starter.

In the area for a few day’s fishing. Hotel room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent and the staff were all lovely- friendly and couldn’t have been more friendly.

We enjoyed an overnight stay, the room being very large and the bed very soft. The only drawback was noise from the bar and outside until after midnight. Breakfast was very good and served by a friendly and helpful young lady.

Hi,Room was nice & clean, bed was comfortable. We did have a problem with the shower head, we had to tie it in place & the bottom of the shower would fill up with water till it spilled out onto the bathroom floor. We had to use towels along with the floor mat to soak up the water so we didn't slip.It definitely wouldn't put us off staying again, we had a lovely stay. This stay could not have been faulted. The room was clean, decor was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast that was included with the room was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying here again if I'm in Aberfeldy :)

Clean and nice rooms. Wonderfull breakfast and a nice bar for the evening.

We asked for a quiet room and this was provided, unfortunately and out of the control of the hotel, we had noisy people in the adjacent room who stayed in the bar till midnight, talking very loudly on the landing outside the bedroom door then banging about in their room before settling down.The breakfast was full and tasty and we where fortunate to be able to site away from our noisy neighbours.

A very nice hotel, we could put our bikes safe in the cellar, nice room, clean, good food and nice staff.

Dinner was lovely and great value. Breakfast was good but we waited over an hour in Saturday morning for a cooked breakfast. The waitress was unconcerned and not very chatty, despite us asking several times what was happening. Some staff could be more helpful and communicate better. The rooms were nice and value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Scheihallion Hotel.The food we had fir our evening meal was delicious as was breakfast in the morning.We liked the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.The room we stayed in was good and very spacious.Only small thing was some noise from bar below unril 11.00 ish as the room was above it and traffic noise from road in tbe morning.

Everything was good

Great value stay in busy pub (our room was quiet). Friendly staff and good service. Unfortunately the coffee machine broke on the second morning but alternative instant was readily available. Room comfortable and warm, en-suite shower was good. The food was the usual range of pub food with some additional ranges (we had dinner 2 nights and breakfast) and was remarkably good and very well cooked.Easy parking (free) opposite behind the co-op.

Everywhere was lovely and clean, good sized bedroom and bathroom. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Great breakfast and good food in the bar. Although no parking at Hotel, there was free parking very close by. Excellent value for money, would definitely stay again.

Four of us stayed for 2 nights whilst fishing at dunkeld,Could not fault the standard of accommodation or the quality of the food both at breakfast and dinner, the staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful, would have no hesitation highly recommending this hotel.

Modern, clean, warm rooms with great en-suite facilities. Restaurant and bar downstairs with good food and wide range of beers. Julie and her staff were all very helpful.Also safe storage for bikes in cellar.

We stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast.A good central location, nice clean room with a good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had an evening meal on 2 nights had really nice pizza and beef stroganoff very enjoyable well done chef.

The staff were so friendly both in reception and behind the bar.We stayed in Room 1 it was very clean and we loved the bathroom which was huge. The location of the hotel is excellent too. Overall we had a wonderful time .

We stayed for 1 night whilst attending the Scottish Winter Swimming Championships in Kenmore, and it was great. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Dinner was good and breakfast was amazing. We will be back. Thank you.

Room was very comfortable and so quiet given it was over a pub. Bathroom and shower was particularly good as was the breakfast. Every member of staff I encountered made an effort to improve our experience staying there, friendly and helpful. The location in the centre of Aberfeldy was really convenient and I’ve no negative comments at all.

My room was on the second floor- which meant that I was not disturbed at all by any noise from the bar. It was extremely windy that night as storm Otto was passing, but everyone was so well insulated and secure I felt safe and warm and pretty undisturbed by the weather.Room huge and storage more than ample. En-suite rage and warm.Breakfast delicious, with a great deal of choice and nothing missed out.I would definitely come back. - and for longer next time!

Stayed overnight in double economy room and booked breakfast and dinner. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bedroom was larger than I expected and nicely furnished. The bathroom was also a great size with a large shower. We were at the front of the building but were not disturbed by noise. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough. I had let them know I was gluten free when I booked and when it was time to eat the lady serving me went through the menu and let me know the gluten free options. The food was delicious with plenty of it. We would definitely come back and stay here again

Great value for money, room was spacious, warm once we turned radiator on, bed was comfy!Evening meal was great, perfectly cooked steak. Breakfast was fab.My only gripe, which is very nitpicky is that the plates both meals were served on were cold! 😄

Excellent comfy and spacious room and bed. It was also quiet so I had a really good nights sleep, which was important to me. The décor throughout was beautiful and the staff were excellent. There were small things that could be improved to ensure all those good points aren't ruined. Although I enjoyed the tea making facilities, like a biscuit, decaf coffee and chocolate, the spoon was missing. I had to walk all the way downstairs to find out about the wi-fi. There was no info book in the room. I had no wi-fi during my stay and it would have been an issue if I was working. The wi-fi address did not match what was advertised downstairs. The evening meal was below average, but the breakfast was good. Overall, the facilities were good and I really enjoyed my stay and would book with you again. Thank you.

Spent two night bringing in the new year staff as always went out of their way nothing too much trouble

The rooms were nice, warm and clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. We had breakfasts and dinner one night which had plenty of choices and the food was good.Only down side was the bar/lounge is just the public bar and would have hoped for a nicer sitting area to sit and chat. Apart from that a decent stay.

Comfy bedroom, huge bathroom, friendly staff, great location.Only slight issue was a cracked shower head that sprayed water around a bit, but when I reported this on departure it was carefully noted in a maintenance log - which shows they take things seriously and it is very likely to be quickly acted upon, unlike many places where such a comment is met with a shrug of the shoulders!

We had a very pleasant 3-night stay at Schiehallion Hotel. Everything was perfectly clean, comfortable and warm while the weather outside was somewhat cool and wet. The hotel staff were all very friendly, helpful and efficient and deserve praise for their work ethic. We ate each night in the hotel restaurant and were not disappointed with anything. The chef produced lovely food, hot straight from the kitchen.One very minor detail to mention was that our room was directly above the restaurant and bar and some noise from the bar’s music system was a bit intrusive in the evening, but it seemed to quieten down by 11pm.Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and we wouldn’t hesitate to return if we decide visit Aberfeldy again.

This was a one night stopover before heading to a hotel in Pitlochry. We were booked in for the 3 course meal in the evening. The bar/restaurant was a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were all friendly & welcoming. The food was excellent. Excellent choice & quite a few specials. Knowledgeable friendly barman. Our room was nice & clean. It was small & I wasn't too keen on it just being a double bed as we are so used to Kingsize but we slept well enough. We were on the 1st floor which meant it was noisy until around 12.30am, however that wasn't a huge issue for us as we always stay up late anyway. I think the only downside was that it was above the reception entrance where the people who smoke gather, so I could smell the smoke, as we had our window open due to our room being warm. Happy that it was a warm hotel though as I'm a cold tattie & it was November. When checking out, we mentioned the fact we would of preferred a bigger bed & a better view & the staff on the reception desk were so nice about it. They said if we return just to ask for a better room & we also got a card with £10 off our next meal. Our beakfast wasn't great. The sausage was very undercooked & the poached egg was way too vinegary & overcooked. The beans were Luke warm at best. Despite the negatives, we actually would definitely return if we got a better room & because of the excellent food in the evening & the friendly staff. Thankyou guys.

Checked in quite late which was accommodated with no issues, staff were very friendly and polite especially the man serving breakfast on Saturday morning. Great big clean room with bath, tv etc and very comfortable bed. 10/10 will be back.

Booked here for 1 night and wish we had stayed longer! The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. We had a meal in the bar the previous evening and it was also lovely. We will be back.

Friendly helpful staff, cleancomfortable room and the food was great. Now for the stuff that could be improved- every time you moved in bed the springs would clink and clang, the cistern in the too spacious bathroom was very loud and do multiple flushes on its own.

Hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable.However family room isn't fit for 2 adults and 2 children, the sofa bed was too small for our 9 and 6 year old children.It could easily fit a camp bed so maybe this could be done if there are 4 occupants?Breakfast very good, didn't eat there for dinner.The manageress who welcomed us and was there both mornings was very good, providing plenty of information and good service.

From the moment we stepped inside to the moment we left we were met with friendly, efficient, smiling staff. Food was delicious, room was clean and tidy with comfy beds, slept like babies. Only two tiny requests...hook on inside of bathroom door and non slip shower mat if anyone mentions disability. Great stay in and around lovely Aberfeldy, just what the doctor ordered.

Booked the hotel for an overnight stay after visiting the Hot Box Spa. Check in was seamless and the room was clean and huge! We found the room and the hotel very hot though. Christine needs a special shout out,she was fantastic. The evening meal was beautiful. Very pleasantly surprised. Breakfast in the morning was also lovely. I would not hesitate to return.

when we originally booked we didn't request a room on a lower floor,a last minute email to Julie requesting if this was possible and she had it all sorted on our arrival. the room was fabulous, it was very spacious and the bathroom was bigger than some of the bedrooms we have stayed in. All the staff were friendly and nothing was a bother to them. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice,tasty and beautifully cooked. We had 3 evening meals during our stay and none disappointed,again all tasty and beautifullycooked.We would stay again and would highly recommend a stay here.

Hotel was comfortable and well appointed. Beds very firm. Large bathrooms. Nice sitting area (common area) outside the room was a nice plus. Great, full breakfast in the cozy pub on the first floor. No lift in the hotel, but we stayed on the first floor, so it wasn’t a huge problem.Easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants. No on-site parking, but a public lot across the street, behind the co-op market, was easy. Friendly staff! Great price.

We were attending a family wedding close by.The staff at Schiehallion were very welcoming when we arrived and arranged our room keys, although we knew in advance that our rooms would not be ready.We returned in the early hours of the morning , and again staff that were on were very helpful.We unfortunately had not booked our breakfast, which was completely our fault, however the kitchen staff were faultless in serving up a full cooked breakfast, delicious porridge with honey and cream, toast, hot coffee and tea.We had a good laugh with all the staff on duty that morning.Nothing was too much to ask for.Thankyou very much, you made me and my family very welcome.

I had a spacious and very comfortable bedroom, with a lovely bathroom. The hotel side 9f the hotel was light and very pleasant. The bar and restaurant area was rather dark and cluttered, and there was only parking on the road outside. However, I would stay again, as my meal was delicious, and the bedroom very pleasant.

Good value for money , food was good and the service for evening meal and breakfast was good. Our room was clean. We had to ask for towels and a cup as the room was set up for 1 instead of the double occupancy booked. Bath size towels would have been good. Overall it was OK for the one night stopover.

On arrival, I was always able to park on the road right outside the hotel but there if I hadn’t been able to, there was also a free car park opposite.The team here are excellent being friendly, helpful, courteous and engaging in a wee bit of banter while doing all they can to ensure guests are happy from check-in right through to departure.The room was a very good size as was the bed which was very comfortable.There was also plenty of space in the bathroom.It would have been nice to have had a wee coffee table by the window but that was a minor thing.I was was staying for a fishing trip and the hotel was well placed being close to a number of beats.I also took a short drive to Loch Tay one evening for a wee bit of sightseeing.There are lots of things to do in the area all within a short drive.The bar menu was limited but cooked to a very standard with the basic fish supper being one of the best I’ve had.This menu was supplemented by a number of ‘specials’ which were also excellent.I tried chicken leg stuffed with black pudding, sea bream on bed of fennel and crispy duck pancakes.The chef clearly knows his food as all were excellent.I’ll certainly use the hotel again.

We stayed on DDB basis. The room was large and very comfortable. The dinner was great, as was the breakfast. The chef prepares tasty food, nice presentation too. The bar is well run, well stocked and a good place to enjoy a drink or two. 10/10 from us. In addition, Aberfeldy is a lovely small town with fantastic views.

The hotel is great value for money. Db&b was superb staff very nice and accommodating. But definitely need to replace the bed mattress. 😀

My annual stay at Schiehallion was as great as the last two. I really love this little hotel. Rooms, service and friendliness were as good as ever.I brought four friends and they loved it as much as I did amd agreed it is a a wee treasure. Breakfast service and food was great.

Cannot thank the hotel enough for a great weekend. My partner’s 60th birthday was a surprise involving her daughters unexpected stay. The booking involved three rooms and the manager Julie was wonderful in arranging flowers and champagne for our arrival. Don’t know how she arranged for the snow too - but it was a perfect weekend 😀 The hotel is a perfect base. Food is great and the hospitality second to none. The bar on the ground floor has Sky Sports and a fantastic selection of whiskies, so is spot on for a chill after walking the wonderful countryside. Will definitely stay here again.

I was delighted with my last minute mini break to the Schiehallion Hotel.The staff were all lovely and local to the area so very knowledgeable about the delightful walks and tourist hangouts.My room was quiet, spacious and had ample plug sockets and USB ports which was important to me as I was on a working holiday.The restaurant served excellent meals including tweaking menus for my fussy tastes.I consider the Schiehallion Hotel to be a "lucky find" and I look forward to recommending it to family and friends.

The food is exceptional!Points off as the heating had not been on, despite it being 3 degrees. And the comfy chair had a broken leg so was un-usable. However, the bed was fine for me to sit and the room heated up quickly enough when I turned the radiator on.

Had some walking planned in Glen Lyon. so we opted for a stay in Aberfeldy. The Schiehallion had good reviews so we opted for 1 night B&B here. Really comfortable, large room, nice and warm. We didn't eat on the evening as food stopped at 7.00PM, which was a bit early, but what was being served looked and smelled lovely. Staff were welcoming, even have Schiehallion on draught in the bar!!! Nice fresh breakfast, with plenty of options - all in all, a great stay.

On the down side, the menu is small and had an item missing at the start of service. Car parking is on main road or in co-op car park. Room 3 window is above exit door. Noisy between 11pm and 12.30. Overall good value and would stay again.

Hotel appears to have been renovated recently. Bedroom and en suite bathroom were lovely. Lounge bar/restaurant downstairs is very nice too. Staff all helpful and friendly. Only slight downside was very poor WiFi, but that kind of thing doesn't really bother me. We had dinner in the hotel each night, and although the menu has all the usual things on it, the chef managed to elevate the dishes with nice flourishes/flavour combinations. Our stay definitely met our expectations. Would go back in an instant.

The room was well decorated, fresh, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful.Properly made porridge is never found these days...pinhead oats steeped in the pan and simmered in water (not milk), served with cream and syrup. A fresh morning roll filled with crispy bacon and sausage was amazing .. our choice...we could have had the works if we'd wanted. Will look forward to that breakfast next time we come.

This is by far the most friendliest, clean and cosy hotel we have ever stayed . The staff were so friendly , the rooms were spotless and beds comfy . The pub and restaurant were very cosy and the food was excellent. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant, really wish we’d been there for longer .

Have stayed at the Schiehallion on 2 occasions in room 2. Excellent and large room to the front. Surprisingly once curtains are drawn you Dont hear much noise during the Night. Staff are lovely. No complaints regarding food. Excellent breakfast (porridge is very filling) and evening meal(s).If I could offer some constructive feedback. It would be that some of the clearly regulars female patrons love the sound of there own voice.

It was a last minute trip with my mum and I, and it was lovely, we had dinner, bed and breakfast. I didn’t catch the girls name, but she booked our dinner, booked us in, served us dinner, and even served our breakfast - she was great, chatty without being over baring.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-day stay at the Schiehallion Hotel.We were met with a warm welcome upon arrival and that friendliness endured over the two days of our stay. Our room was smart, warm and newly refurbished. We ate in the bar area on both nights and enjoyed some tasty and reasonably priced dishes as well as a glass or two of Schiehallion lager. The bar had a friendly atmosphere and was nicely decorated. We felt that we were in Abefeldy's top spot. Breakfast each morning was superb and served up quickly. I only have praise for this hotel, and the town of Aberfeldy is just beautiful. We loved the Birks, the Cinema, the Watermill Bookshop and Café, and the Tay Bridge.Would definitely recommend the Schiehallion Hotel.

The Schiehallion Hotel is in the lovely town of Aberfeldy. The staff were welcoming and check-in was swift. The room as large with a good sized bathroom and walk-in shower. Comfy double bed. Good food in the bar and a lovely Scottish breakfast. Great.

My work colleague and I were extremely happy with our night's stay at the 'Schilly' as the locals call it.The online booking system was very easy to use, the room rate was very reasonable and the rooms themselves were well appointed, very clean and even the windows even had the marvellous ability to OPEN UP, unlike the majority of hotel rooms across Europe (let's be honest, they are usually far too hot).The bathroom was well decorated and the shower had a great pressure. The breakfast was just right, with melt-in-the-mouth haggis and what tasted like Stornoway black pudding. The waitress serving breakfast was very helpful in filling up my Thermos with white coffee which was very much appreciated.I liked the little touches, like the Scottish Soap Company shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathroom and the wee USB fan beside the bed.I'm taking my wife here just after Christmas and will keep returning until the building turns to dust in an earthquake, i.e. for the rest of my days.

The staff were warm and friendly on arrival, the room was spacious and had little extras including hot chocolate, the en suite shower was wonderful, we slept very well in the large bed, a very pleasantstay

Night before 'online check in request' impossible to fathom out. Phoned to let the Hotel know and was advised not to worry, leave it until you arrive. All good. Room (1) immaculate, no issues. Shower looked brand new as did the whole room. Shower head proved impossible as if it had been fitted wrongly, high pressure water went everywhere except on me - - we let reception know. Wife would have preferred a shower head built into the huge new bath for washing hair. Also the night before arrival informed of no chef at dinner on a Wed / Thurs but were given the alternative booking of a local Pub. We ended up cancelling the dinner as my Wife couldn't walk the distance (M.E.) and opted for a restaurant across the road from the Hotel. No specific parking for the Hotel, but found a space in an adjacent street, then walking back with our two cases. Room directly above the public bar so a bit noisy from music coming through the floor, and patrons leaving at closing time. Main road traffic noise abated after mid night. Breakfast staff superb. So ten out of ten for investing in all the rooms, maybe add a 'Room Number' sign on the first landing to help find them. Wish you well for 2022 for what has been a nightmare for hospitality.

Usually stay at Schiehallion when in Aberfeldy as you know what you are getting and not disappointed. Even with staff shortages as happening all over they still tried to cover all needs.

The room was clean breakfast very good.staff lovely. The only point to make was it would have been good to be notified that the restaurant was closed during our stay.

Lovely hotel and room had walk in shower. However was on second floor so next time would request room on first as too many stairs!! Was informed day before visit there would be no evening meal as chef on holiday but breakfast would be provided.Breakfast was excellent. Staff all very friendly and even saw the chef who was in the bar that night!! Had to eat out for dinner and very poor choice as only two pubs open serving basic food so would definitely check chef would be around next time we visit.

Stayed one night at the Schiehallion Hotel. Room large and airy, very clean and modern. All staff were welcoming and attentive, but we were very impressed with Chistine and Chef. The evening meal was delicious and as I am gluten intolerant they both gave fantastic service explaining what ingredients was in what to ensure I enjoyed my meal. Excellent breakfast too.

Very nice rooms and toiletries . Great food and drink . Lovely atmosphere . Staff in reception were very very nice .barman was very attentive explaining all our different Gins etc. Only downside was it was very noisy due to a party in the nxt room for us that continued all night long . Every time they went for smoke the door banged there dog barked etc. So wakened very tired but on a whole it was a lovely stay . Thank you

Delicious breakfasts too.The only problem was my second night when something to do with the heating or water meant I had a loud engine noise lasting a few minutes which kept going off all night.Mentioned this on check out and lady on reception was going to check it out.

I have passed the email to each member for comment.I found the rooms, food, cleanliness excellent. Prices wre also very good value. Lack of parking was a slight drawback.

Our suite was lovely. Very clean. Plenty of room to relax in the bedroom and a great spacious bathroom. The staff were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner & breakfasts. We sat in the little lounge area outside the rooms on both evenings (mostly because the WiFi didn't reach our room) and it was comfortable too. All in all, a good relaxing stay.

Very good room, looked freshly decorated. A good sized bathroom with large shower area. All the key electrical sockets had usb ports for charging and were easily accessible at both bed and desktop, a real bonus with all the electronics that we now carry on trips. Would stay here again when next in the area.

Lovely stay in the newly refurbished room.One issue was the poor wi-fi which was non-existent in the room and poor in the bar, needs a mesh system.

Thanks for a lovely stay, staff were very good and the accommodation was comfortable and the large family room was perfect.We would have preferred to eat in the bar area as it was very dark for breakfast and felt out of the atmosphere in the evening. Not a complaint just a suggestion.

The room and bathroom were both big and spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly from check-in staff to bar staff to breakfast staff (thanks everyone). The breakfast was generous, delicious and well planned as you can choose food and a time slot the night before so it's all ready for you. The bar has a nice friendly atmosphere and is bright and fresh. An ideal base for a walk around the Birks which are a few minutes away. Would definitely use again. ????

The room was very comfortable and well appointed.The hotel is actually a pub with rooms and the food is good standard pub food. Breakfast was good. Covid precautions were as one would expect.

Our room was clean, comfortable and bigger than we were expecting. We had a slight issue with the shower head in our bathroom flicking upwards when at full pressure but it worked fine if the pressure wasn't too high - if we were staying longer than one night I might have mentioned it to staff but it wasn't too much of an issue for us.We ate in the bar - food was great as was the full Scottish breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again.

Schiehallion Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Although the rooms are above a busy pub, they were spotless, quiet, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and the food was good quality at very reasonable prices. It was a good base to explore the surrounding countryside.

Room 11 has been recently refurbished and its very comfortable. Good shower with plenty of hot water. I had an evening meal in the bar which didn't disappoint. I had the Cullen Skink followed by the Steak pie, it should satisfy anyone with a heathly apetite! Service in the bar was excellent, the staff were very pleasant and attentive. Overall I would recommend a stay here!

We enjoyed one night in the Schiehallion. The room was large and comfortable with lovely views of the hills. There was an amazingly large bathroom with both a shower and bath, which was spotless. The food,both at breakfast and the evening meal was of a good standard. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

This was our third stay and certainly won't be our last. Our room, as ever, was spotless and clean and the friendly staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Breakfast and dinner were first class and served quickly after taking our seats. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

It is difficult to praise this hotel and staff enough in words. My family had an exceptional stay here Rooms 5* Staff 5* Food 5*. My advice book it, go there and relax and enjoy. My thanks to all hotel and restaurant staff.

Stayed in the Schiehallion hotel whilst visiting Aberfeldy. Room and bathroom were large, bright and clean. Kettle and coffee/tea making facilities. Hotel on the Main Street in Aberfeldy. Parking was easy too, either on the road outside or opposite the hotel. Staff were very helpful during the stay. We used the bar area and ate at the hotel too. Food and drinks reasonably priced. Covid measures in place and staff ensured visitors adhered to the rules with one way systems and table allocation. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

At first sight the pub part looked a bit run down but this was deceptive as the bedroom was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a modern and stylish bathroom.We ate there twice and both meals were very good, something a cut above the usual pub fare with an offering of Nicosia salad with quails egg and a splendid plaice crusted with herbs. Both morning we had a very good breakfast The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.Overall good value for moneyThe wifi was not very good however and we could not get on in the bedroom but had to come downstairs and sit outside.

Our room was comfortable and the fan in the room was a very welcome addition given the lovely warm weather.Breakfast was very tasty as were the bar meals.Friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent stay very friendly staff and clean spacious room. Dinner and breakfast was excellent with a good choice. Only small downside was no air conditioning as room was hot, there was a small fan but maybe a bigger fan could been better but this did not spoil our stay.

My wife and I booked the hotel on our way back down from Inverness to Glasgow. Whilst the bar was, like most in UK, given over to the Euros we still managed to get good meals at the times that we wanted. The room we had was on the second floor and very spacious with a massive bathroom.Staff were brilliant. Julie and Christine just worked their socks off to make sure that everything you wanted/needed was dealt with and Pat did the same at breakfast. I did have an issue with the wifi but Julie was amazing and solved it for me. I believe that they are looking to improve it as a matter of urgency.We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Staff extremely helpful—especially as working under difficulty with problem in kitchen, however the arrangement to book dinner for us at other establishments in town worked out well on both evenings. Hotel very clean, central, friendly and we had a good two night stay. Only downside was Hotel not being able to do evening meals due to problem with ventilation system. We will certainly be doing a return visit.

This is not our first visit and certainly won’t be the last. Rooms spotless great breakfast even although therewas an issue with the kitchen which we were made aware of in advance. Paul from the bar table service was great and made sure we were receiving the best service under these unusual circumstances.

Stayed one night at this hotel and was surprised how spacious the room and bathroom was. Good hotel and excellent breakfast. There is a free car park behind the Co-op opposite the hotel.

A really enjoyable stay and a great start to our holiday. Even though there was an issue with the kitchen it did not affect our stay and the Schiehallion booked us into the Blackwatch Inn further down the road, which was really nice. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Will definitely stay again

Two nights were not enough could have spent another night as our stay was excellent.

Just returned from 2 night break, very clean in all areas & felt relaxed with all the COVID rules in place, all staff are polite & hard working.

Hotel good but poor WIFI coverage was a disadvantage. One had to go down to a sitting room on a lower floor for WIFI reception.

Stayed overnight on business. Very clean with friendly staff. Restaurant and bar were closed due to covid, however there was a very good local delivery service who delivered straight to your room door.Definitely stay again if in the area.

I just spent 2 nights in the Schiehallion Hotel as I volunteer for the Crannog Centre in Kenmore. The room was spacious the bed comfortable, there was a lovely selection of coffees, cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate and tea available in the room. Everything was spotless. The bathroom was large, the shower excellent and again, everything super clean. Breakfast was very tasty and opulent - I did not need any lunch. But most of all everybody I dealt with was incredibly friendly and helpful. I have already booked again for next weekend, when I'll be back working in the Crannog. A huge thank you to folks in the Schiehallion.

Very clean, good breakfast & very accommodating to our needs.

From arriving to leaving we were treated with the utmost respect . All covid measures were in place and very well organised. Our room was very large with a lovely big en suite. We had our evening meal in the hotel each night and the service and the food was excellent . Huge choice of food on the menu and all very tasty and piping hot when served . All the staff were very nice and friendly. Nothing was to much troublesome them even in these strange times . Great hotel and we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the middle of the CV restrictions. All the staff were very conscious and strictly enforcing the rules which made us feel safe. Room was clean and comfortable and only comment was the walls and doors didn’t do much to mask noise from other rooms.Food was excellent but best thing was how friendly and helpful the staff were. Everyone was pleasant and couldn’t do enough. Nice touch offering us a packed lunch..thanks

A popular place which serves good food and has a fine selection of drinks from the bar. Rooms are clean and spacious and staff are very pleasant. Parking can be an issue but we managed ok. The hotel has a one way system in place to assist with Covid regulations. All in all a worthwhile stay in a picturesque location.

The accommodation was excellent and the food in the dining room was much to our taste. We enjoyed our two days visit and hope to come again.

Really nice room at the Schiehallion. large room and a large bathroom, immaculately clean with everything you could need. Staff really friendly and helpful, great breakfast is included.Only wee thing that was an issue was that our room (6) seemed to have little or no sound insulation from the adjoining room 8. A small point but the only negative thing I can comment on.Despite that I would recommend this hotel, and I will certainly stay again when I'm in Aberfeldy.

The hotel is well located and is both friendly and professional. We felt very relaxed because the staff did everything right to make the hotel covid secure.

I was impressed by their Covid precautions in that you only had one entrance and one exit and you had your temperature taken on entry.Well spaced out tables for breakfast and dinner and all staff wearing protective masks.The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. The meals were big portions and freshly cooked.My bedroom was large and very clean.The only downside was the noise from outside tables as my room was facing the main street.There are quieter rooms facing the back.I was very happy here for my 3 nights stay and managed to do some lovely walks all within a short distance of Aberfeldy. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well fitted out and the rooms are well designed and comfortable. We were on the second floor which, without a lift, meant two staircases. The staff, however, were delighted to carry our modest luggage up and down for us. The staff were all brilliant and it was the most friendly hotel I can remember. Considering I have visited over 50 countries, this is some accolade. The food was excellent pub grub and included a tomato soup which was brilliant. Our next hotel was Michelin recommended but the food was not a patch on the Schiehallion.Strongly recommended.

My wife and I spent a most enjoyable two nights in the Schiehallion Hotel, Aberfeldy in September 2020.We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The virus precautions first class. Our room was very comfortable with a special positive mention to one of the largest baths I have ever seen. The two breakfasts we had to be tasty with generous portions and a good selection of items.The only slight issue was the time it took to serve us on the one night we had an evening meal in the hotel. We could understand why there was a delay but feel we should have been advised that this was going to happen with updates where appropriate. Other guests might not be as understanding.Thanks again for a lovely stay.I would rate this as 4 1/2 if I could.

Great hotel with large clean spacious rooms. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Young waiter even went over to co-op to buy spaghetti hoops. Only small problem was extractor fan above shower was caked in an inch of dust. Dangerous in these Covid times. Definitely be back.

Best thing about our stay given the current covid circumstances. Staff couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. They were all constantly on the go,cleaning, attentive and available to all requests. After being in lockdown was so lovely for hubby and myself to get away. The shehallion Hotel was lovely staff so friendly and everything so organised for covid so felt very safe with things in place. Definitely recommend staying there if you want a base to explore round the area.

I booked a couple of day's as a birthday treat for my wife, stupidly I booked a twin room instead of a double so I contacted Julie the manager and she kindly upgraded our room which was very much appreciated. Hotel clean and tidy, staff friendly. Due to Covid temperature taken on arrival and one way system seemed to work well.None of the staff wore face masks which we found a bit strange as everywhere in Edinburgh, where welive, all hospitality staff use face masks.The most annoying thing was being allocated a time for breakfast- we got 8.20 which we found far too early as we were only staying away for one night.We ended up leaving the hotel without breakfast, I would have liked an option for room only and a slightly discounted price or to have been made aware of the policy before booking.

Hotel was really nice and clean. One thing I would say is the mattress could be replaced as it was flat. The food and setup due to COVID is excellent.

Wanted to get away for a few days and climb up schiehallion mountain. On arrival to the schiehallion hotel u were met with the most friendly of staff and they explained the new rules put in place for our safety (which i never saw them allowing to be broken). Had dinner both nights and breakfast at the hotel and everything i ate was top notch. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Couldn't fault anything about my 3 days in Aberfeldy. Will 100% return to the hotel again.

Just back from a lovely relaxing stay at this hotel. First we had ventured out really since lockdown and were very impressed with how prepared the hotel were for welcoming visitors back.The standard of accommodation was good although our room at the top of the stairs was quite warm.Service was excellent and nothing too much bother. Craig in particular looked after us very well.We had breakfast on both days and ate there on the Saturday night and all the food was delicious and well presentedWell done all for making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back

We very much enjoyed our three nights at the Schiehallion hotel. It’s a beautiful building in the heart of Aberfeldy so made it the ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. The room was beautifully clean and we were well looked after. The friendly staff topped up our shortbread supply which was a nice touch.We were there during the coronavirus outbreak with Italy going into total lockdown. We’d sit with our morning coffee watching the news, a worrying time as I have family in Italy. Despite this we still enjoyed our stay and will definitely return as we both love the area and this lovely hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Room above pub, yet no noise whatsoever from downstairs which was great, even being a weekend that we stayed.Very friendly staff in Bar and great food, both quality and price. Salmon was excellent.Only negative would be the bed seemed very old and was quite hard, could do with upgrade.Great big room with large bathroom,all very clean. Plenty of heating and hot water. At first impressions I wasn’t sure where the high ratings came from -Busy pub downstairs and no off street parking. However, the service was spot on from first contact and the pub was very friendly and the food was great. Good clean room. We were on the first floor and you could hear the pub and anyone moving about in the room above so ask for a higher floor if you can. Overall very positive.

Had a great week staying at this hotel end of October and beginning of November 2019. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfy. Food and drinks in the ground floor bar area. Food typical pub style, good value and tasty. Hotel is located in the Main Street of Aberfeldy and very close by is an Italian, Indian and a Pizza restaurant - all good. Perfect situation to go hill walking and visiting Whisky distilleries.

We cannot fault the food ,the bar and the breakfast.The room and bathroom are spotless and spacious.However,the double bed could do with one king size mattress..Due to the very small window ,we had to have the lights and open the bathroom door to let some natural light in.We read lots ofgood reviews saying how good the rooms are.I guess we were just unlucky.I I could have raised this issue at the time but we just wanted to enjoy our weekend..We would return in the fiuture and hopefully have abetter experience.Kind Regards,Alan.

Very comfortable hotel, room was spotless.Bathroom was the largest of any hotel I have stayed in and like the room was spotlessly clean.We didn't dine in the hotel but had a few drinks in the bar which is very reasonably priced.Breakfast was great and the coffee as nice as I have tasted.Staff were helpful and friendly.We will certainly return again very soon.

Our rooms was lovely and lovely bathroom.Was very hot had a wee fan but still too hot.the breakfast was good as well for salmon i had for dinner sat night.Only issue im afraid was the dogs in the bar im am allergic and couldnt stay in bar any length of time.Didnt realise dog friendly hotel so my fault.Would recommend tho.

We were not expecting the hotel to be of such a high standard as it was.The rooms are extremely well appointed (even got USBs by the bed) and spotless.The bed was very comfortable.Bar food was good value, well cooked, staff very pleasant and the gin selection extensive and an education in itself.The Scottish breakfast as outstanding best we’ve had for years, high quality ingredients cooked perfectly.Well done, this is genuine Scottish hospitality at its best!

Lovely accommodation and very friendly service.Room was clean but was very hot and only a small desktop fan provided in the room.Breakfast could do with improving - especially the sausages but the food in the bar was really good. Reasonably priced drinks too.Overall though I thought the room price was on the higher end for what was provided.

Room was spacious and comfortable. It was however on the main road overlooking a petrol station forecourt and co-op. The dinner was nice.It was a good location for us while walking the Rob Roy Way.

I stayed with my brother just for the one night but we both had a great night's sleep and we're more than happy with the hotel and the service. Julie even went out of her way to give two hungover blokes a lift to the station the next morning. I'll definitely be coming back with my family. Thank you for such a nice stay.

What a lovely clean modern place to stop .. very surprised as you walk in the smell of the clean room is magnificent. The fixtures and fittings are top notch and the water is instantly hot .. big rooms and great breakfast the next morning at a great price.Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Good place in a charming city!

We loved to stay in this hotel. It has it's own pub and the rooms are spacieus and very(!) clean. The breakfast was very good with a large choice on the menu. The day before we stayed in the Caledonian Hotel in Ullapool and that was the opposite of Schiehallion Hotel. We will come back again to the Schiehallion Hotel in Aberfeldy.

We arrived in the late afternoon and were surprised to find last minute such a nice hotel. We prefer staying in a pub inn : having an beer in a bar with local people, a good meal in their own restaurant and to sleep in the samen building for a interesting price.

We had a wonderful experience in a lovely unit with all the updated ammenities. The character of the building , the coziness of the pub and the excellent food made our stay well worth the drive to the countryside.

I just want to say a big thank you to the owners of the hotel. I had an emergency on the day I was due to be staying and they very kindly didn't charge me, given my circumstances. Hopefully I will have a chance to actually stay at the hotel on another trip.

Lovely wee hotel/bistro/restaurant. Very clean and modern inside. Great staff and awesome food in the bistro. Great value for money.

We stayed one night with breakfast. the room was nice, big and clean. The breakfast was OK but the cooked items were store bought and bit dry

My sister and enjoyed our stay very much .The rooms were clean and warm during what was a cold spel .One thing I would pick you up on is that There is no internal lock. I know Aberfeldy is a safe place, but when staying single occupancy you receive onekey( which is fine ) but the other key is presumably in the key box, which is rather easy to grab by some nasty person. Other than that no problem.

Lovely modern clean room and en-suite. Excellent Scottish breakfast options with smoked haddock and salmon. Staff very welcoming. Highly recommend.

Our second visit and another fab stay.The rooms are modern, clean and everything you need.The staff are very friendly and are local to the area.The breakfast is superb and evening meals in the bar are great.You couldn't leave feeling hungry and the food is very tasty.Apart from the normal vast selection of whisky and beers they also have a large collection of Gin which they are clearly very knowledgeable on.So for a real authentic stay in a nice modern hotel with a popular and friendly bar this is the place.

Spent 2 nights here in April while visiting the area, fantastic hotel, spacious rooms with a warm welcome, great breakfast each morning & the staff in the evening in the pub couldn’t do enough for you.

Had a lovely 2 night stay with spacious room which had a large shower room and such comfortable beds. The breakfast is delicious and staff very friendly. The bar is most inviting with a great choice of drinks. All in all a great place to stay and excellent value.

Arrived on Sunday for our two night stay. Rooms were clean, warm and well equipped. First on the agenda was coffee, using the sachets supplied, then down to the bar. Staff are very friendly, from bar staff to breakfast team. Good sellection of choices for breakfast. All in all, would definitely go back.

I love staying at this hotel. As a hiker, you crave a warm, clean room with a shower that works with a bit of power. Then you crave a good meal and a good pint. Finally,, you crave a good breakfast to set you up for the next days hike. You get all of that at the Schiehallion. I keep going back for all these reasons.

Very comfortable room with plenty space. Staff were excellent and able to impart their knowledge on what to do in the local area. Good choice of food for breakfast and dinner.

We loved our stay at the hotel. From the moment we walked in the door, we got a very warm welcome. Julie pulled out all the stops to ensure we were happy. Stayed here 22nd December. Cannot praise the place enough. Rooms large, clean and very comfortable. Best thing for me was how friendly the staff and the locals are. Sitting having a drink in the cosy bar and the could not have made us feel any more welcome. Thank you and we will be back.

We stayed at the Schiehallion during our recent visit to the area to walk the Glen Tilt circuit.We had a very warm welcome and were both very impressed with the modern, clean and well thought out facilities.We also ate that evening in the bar and the fish and chips were faultless!The Scottish breakfast also impressed, particularly the black pudding, yum.We hope to visit again soon.

Most things about this hotel were excellent . On the whole a very friendly hotel . We were in room 1 and it was a gorgeous room and lovely large ensuite bathroom . Food in the restaurant was very good . Nothing was a bother . I’m diabetic and the kitchen mixed & matched dishes to suit . All the staff in the restaurant were very friendly . The only slight downside was the barman . Don’t ask the barman to make a coffee after 21.30 . He will doesn’t like it . I only asked because of my diabetes and wanted a change from drinking water . But other than that slight issue , the place was perfect and we will definitely be back xx Loved our stay in this hotel xx

Our second enjoyable stay at Schiehallion ,rooms spacious &beds comfortable ,windows that open & fan also provided....room 3 this time very warm,,it was mild outdoors too,but ideal for winter breaks in Aberfeldy.Breakfast great,dinner menu dull but adequate. Lovely little town with friendly folk,well worth a visit.

The staff at this hotel are by far the most accommodating, patient, and service-oriented that I have found. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in aberfeldy Scotland. The accommodations are nicely appointed and food and drink are just steps away in the hotel Pub.

Excellent rooms, food and staff

This was an excellent place to stay. We were arriving for a wedding and our request to have earlier than usual access to our room was kindly accommodated. The room and shower room were spacious, well appointed, and clean. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served quickly - my only suggestions for improvement being to provide some yoghurts which don’t contain artificial sweetener, for those of us who have an allergy to aspartame, and when asked for ‘bacon only’ from the breakfast menu to provide more slices than would be given with the ‘full breakfast’!

This was a gift for our friends 50th birthday. They really enjoyed their stay everyone was friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate good size room, large bathroom and wonderful views the whole experience for them was 100%. They would of had a meal in the hotel but the World Cup football was on snd it was a bit noisy and busy but that was to be expected.They will return and enjoy x meal next time and we have decided we will book in the future for a stay too.

Me, my mum and my 14 month old daughter stayed at the hotel for one night on the dinner, bed and breakfast rate, and it was fabulous. The room was lovely and clean, food was delicious and the beds were so comfortablem the location was perfect as well and right in the centre of Aberfeldy, so easy access to all amenities. We would stay again and would definitely recommend the Schiehallion hotel to friends and family.

I was greatly impressed. The room was spacious, well-furnished and pleasantly cool on a hot day. The staff were friendly, and allowed me access to my room at 12.00 on the day arrival rather than requiring me to wait until 3.00. The food in the bar was good value and the choice of breakfast menu impressive. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a room in that area.

Lovely twin room, comfortable bed and large ensuite. There is a big sitting area outside the rooms with plenty of sofas if travelling with a group and a bowl of fruit on the table. Breakfast has a good choice to please everyone and the hotel staff are most helpful.

This is a very modern , outstanding hotel to stay over in .Staff are very friendly, and knowledgeable of the surrounding area . The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly kept , the breakfast is the best and the bistro is very well run , highly recommended .

I would definitely come back again, our 2night stay wasn’t long enough to enjoy the relaxation. Our hotel room was spotless and the hotel was lovely clean too, so not faults. The bar is the main kinda local reasonably priced. It was really busy the weekend we stayed and we heard nothing from our room. Staff were lovely, Food was all cooked fresh, even the morning Scottishbreakfast which we really enjoyed each morning. So yeah we will definitely be back. Thank you lady’s for a great stay !

Lovely rooms, great food and beer in the friendly bar. Staff were fab. Room was really nice with a lovely walk in shower. Great after a big day in the hills. The coop shop and garage is just across the road too.

This is a lovely wee hotel in a great position. Rooms were very nice and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was ideal for our night away. The only downside was we could hear the tv and conversation of the couple next doors as there seemed to be little soundproofing. They had their tv on all night. Perhaps you could put a suggestion next to the tv for guests to have this down low if they are watching during the night.

WE SPENT A WEEK AT THE SCHIEHALLION OVER NEW YEARWE HAD A GREAT TIME ROOM WAS EXCELLENTFOOD WASFABAND STAFFF VERY FRIENDLY.WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDSWELL WORTH A VISIT.

Very accommodating hotel with good breakfast! The walls are a little thin so it was a bit loud during the night but all in all a beautiful hotel with character.

Lovely, spacious comfortable room, only issue was smoking area below the window, which if it's open, means a little late noise from pub and early noise from staff having a smoke, plus said smoke then wafts its way into the room! Didn't detract from the stay though. Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Last gripe, maybe 10.00am for late breakfast on a Sunday morning? I'd stay again.
